Citizens Gas will make gas bill projections for residential customers in early October. About three-fourths of your gas bill during the winter is the cost of the natural gas you use. Citizens Gas passes on the cost of natural gas to customers on a dollar-for-dollar basis. Local utilities don't set natural gas prices. The future outlook for natural gas prices will largely depend on the weather.
